Falmouth Little League Baseball
The town will close fields for rain or wet conditions. They make this call usually by 2:00 PM and we will email coaches when possible.
If rain comes during the game, the umpires decide whether to delay or cancel.
If there’s lightning, play stops right away for at least 30 minutes, and everyone waits in their cars.

About the Divisions and the Rules
Juniors Baseball
Juniors Baseball is for League Age 13 and 14, the step after Majors.
​
Teams play other leagues in Maine Little League District 6 on a full-size field.

Majors Baseball
Majors Baseball is for League Age 11 and 12. League Age 10 players may play up to Majors when there is room, picked by the Majors coaches and Baseball VP after Assessments.
​
There are at least 12 games scheduled, and a season-end double elimination tournament.
​
Majors Baseball follows the official Little League rules, plus a few Falmouth rules.
​
There are opportunities to be on an All Stars team playing in June.

Minors (AAA) Baseball
Minors Baseball (also called AAA) is the middle age Division. This Division is for League Age 9 and 10.
Modified Player Pitch begins with players pitching (everyone has the opportunity unless they opt out), and will sometimes include coaches stepping in to pitch in lieu of walking the batter.
This Division introduces stealing the bases. This season ends in a town playoff.

Teams will have at least 12 scheduled games.
​
There are opportunities to be on an All Stars team playing in June.

AA Baseball
AA Baseball is the first division after Tee Ball. It is for players League Age 7 and 8.
​
The AA Division starts as coach pitch, and players begin pitching during the season. It focuses on teaching players to hit and field.
​
There are generally two AA Baseball games per week.
​
Younger players should sign up for Tee Ball in the Falmouth Little League Baseball program.
